GET RID OF JOINT PAINS USING CABBAGE LEAVES!

Did you know that you can use cabbage for other things rather than only to prepare food?

Thanks to its components – potassium, vitamin C and K – cabbage has anti-inflammatory properties and fights against cancers. At the same it helps your skin recover after bruises.

Fighting against inflammations, makes cabbage a good agent that relieves pain in case of arthritis. The best way to use it is compresses.

Ingredients needed:

  • Cabbage;
  • Bandage;
  • Rolling pin;
  • Aluminum foil;

Steps to follow:

Wash several leaves of cabbage, cut the hard core and let them dry. Put them on the table and bruise the leaves with the rolling pin until the juice is extracted. At this point you can pack the leaves in aluminum foil and warm them in the oven for 3-4 minutes. Apply the cabbage on the affected area and wrap it in bandage. Let the remedy action for about an hour, then rinse with warm water.

Recommendations:

  • Apply this remedy three times a day, but use fresh leaves.
  • You can also use cold compresses. Instead of putting the cabbage in the oven you can put it in the fridge.
  • You could opt for red cabbage as it is rich in anthocyanin, a chemical that relieves joint pain and reduces inflammations.
