Senator Elizabeth Warren (Pocahontas), has become a leader of the far left populist movement of the Democratic Party, but it seems as if her Massachusetts constituents are not impressed. A new poll by WBUR-FM the Boston National Public Radio station, only 44% of Massachusetts voters believe Warren deserves reelection, 46% believe voters ought to “give someone else a chance.” The margin of error is plus or minus 4.4%.
“No one’s going to look at a 44 percent reelect number and think that that’s a good number,” said Steve Koczela, president of The MassINC Polling Group, which conducts surveys for WBUR. “No one’s going to look at it being close to even between ‘reelect’ and ‘give someone else a chance’ and think that that’s reassuring.”
There is plenty of time for her to turn the numbers around as Warren doesn’t have to put on her political war-paint until 2018. It also depends on who runs against her.
