East Texas radio station bans all Madonna music following ‘Women’s March’ comments

Texarkana’s HITS 105 has removed all “Material Girl” songs from their playlist following her comments during the “Women’s March” over the weekend.

During the march, Madonna went on curse word-induced tirade against President Donald Trump. She even stated, “Yes, I have thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House.”
“Banning all Madonna songs at HITS 105 is not a matter of politics, it’s a matter of patriotism,” Texarkana Radio Center General Manager Terry Thomas said. “It just feels wrong for us to be playing Madonna songs and paying her royalties when the artist has shown un-American sentiments. If all stations took their lead from us, that would send a powerful economic message to Madonna.”
Madonna was just one of many celebrities who took the stage in Washington, D.C., to protest during the march.
