Trump: ‘Stay strong Israel,’ You Will Be Our Ally Again!

President-elect Donald Trump on Wednesday morning ripped the Obama administration’s treatment of Israel and pledged to end the “disdain and disrespect” for the country.

Donald J. Trump announced that he wants to make Israel and U.S great friends again. This is his plan:

“We cannot continue to let Israel be treated with such total disdain and disrespect. They used to have a great friend in the U.S., but not anymore. The beginning of the end was the horrible Iran deal, and now this (U.N.)! Stay strong Israel, January 20th is fast approaching!” Trump wrote in a series of tweets.

The United Nations on Friday voted to condemn Israeli settlements in disputed territories. The U.S. had the ability to veto the resolution but abstained from doing so.
Trump, U.S. lawmakers and Israel harshly criticized the Obama administration for not blocking the U.N. resolution.
Trump has promised to repair the U.S.-Israel relationship, while Israeli leaders have accused the current White House of masterminding the U.N. vote.
“The Obama administration not only failed to protect Israel against this gang-up at the UN, it colluded with it behind the scenes,” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office wrote in a statement.
The statement also welcomed the prospect of working with the Trump administration after President Obama leaves office.
“Israel looks forward to working with President-elect Trump and with all our friends in Congress, Republicans and Democrats alike, to negate the harmful effects of this absurd resolution,” the statement said.
